PIES: Los pies son semi-largos (pie de liebre) con los dedos recogidos y compactos; presentan pelos hirsutos; las uñas son cortas y de color negro en los ejemplares oscuros y más claras en los perros bronce o rubios. Las almohadillas plantares son fuertes y muy resistentes a cualquier terreno. Lasmembranas interdigitales son bien desarrolladas; los espolones deben ser amputados de todos los miembros.

ESTE ES OTRO ELEMENTO IMPORTANTE PARA LA MARCAHA, PUES POR SU TIPO Y CONDICIÓN INFLUENCÍA EL MOVIMIENTO DEL PERRO, DEBERÁ SER CUIDADO PARA QUE NO SUFRA ALTERACIONES COMO PUDIERAN SER EL PIE PLANO, LA DESCALCIFICACIÓN O LA MÁS COMÚN, LA ABERTURA DE LOS DEDOS DEBIDO A QUE EL EJEMPLAR VIVE EN LUGARES CON PISO NO ADECUADO PARA ÉL. EL MAL CUIDADO DE LAS UÑAS QUE AL SER ESTAS LARGAS VAN ABRIENDO LOS DEDOS DEFORMANDO LA PISADA QUE DEBERA SER DE LIEBRE, AQUÍ TAMBIÉN TENEMOS OTRO ELEMENTO CARACTERÍSTICO DE LA RAZA, LAS MEMBRANAS INTERDIGITALES
ESTAS MEMBRANAS SOLO SE ENCUENTRAN EN RAZAS QUE NECESITAN DEL NADO PARA CUMPLIR CON SU FUNCIÓN ZOOTÉCNICA. PROBABLEMENTE SE HAN DESARROLLADO COMO PROTECCIÓN AL MEDIO DEBIDO A LA AUSENCIA DE PELO ENTRE LOS DEDOS O PORQUE ESTOS PERROS VIVIÁN EN ZONAS LACUSTRES.

LOS ESPOLONES DEBEN SER EXTIRPADOS, EXCEPTO EN LOS PAÍSES EN DONDE SU EXCISIÓN ESTÁ PROHIBIDA POR LEY.
